Abigail Spencer

Abigail Leigh Spencer (born August 4th, 1981) is an American actress. Most well-known is her performances in the movies Cowboys & Aliens The Haunting in Connecticut 2 Ghosts of Georgia Oz the Great & Powerful It Is Where I Leave You as well as in the show on TV called Angel's Eyes Mad Men Hawthorne & Suits. The actress is currently playing Amantha in Rectify, a Sundance Channel show that is a drama. Abigail Leigh Spencer works as an actress in both film and television. Her popularity was boosted by her roles in the drama show Rectify as well as the sci-fi drama Timeless. She is a native of Gulf Breeze, Florida and was first introduced to acting in the soap opera All My Children. For her work she received the Soap Opera Digest Award as Outstanding Female newcomer. She mainly appeared in role as guest actors throughout the span of several years. Her role as Dr. Erin Jameson on the television series Hawthorne received her praise. Her gorgeous looks and stunning appearance, along with her uncanny acting talent led to a gradual growth of an audience. Her film debut was at around twenty, when she appeared the role of a girl in Campfire Stones. Other films she has appeared in include Jekyll This Means War and Chasing Mavericks. Her role in Beautiful Now earned her a nomination at the Madrid International Film Festival Award. In the show Timeless Spencer played the character of Lucy Preston, a history professor. The series has been praised by critics, and Spencer's character has been nominated in The Teen Choice Award.
